To create and maintain a safe place where people can come and enjoy carrying out social activities with each other.
The Club facilities offer a valuable asset to our community, where people can come and participate in all sorts of activities, including sports, entertainment, competitions, or just simply enjoying meeting with others, or watching them enjoying the using facilities that we have to offer.
In the current environment of more and more communications, information, news and social interactions moving to online, I believe the club provides a valuable facility for people to engage and interact face to face, and build and maintain relationships with each other, it has been used by many people and their families over the years
The premises are also I believe of high value. The club and its buildings have been a very significant part of Stourbridge since 1834. The committee and staff work hard to maintain these in good condition, well decorated and in working order. We take pride in what the club and our staff offer, and do our best to provide a good quality service at reasonable price for our members.
A lot of this is achieved by the committee who are all volunteers, and take a fully active role in assisting with running the club, this makes a significant difference to our costs. They take part in many of the activities themselves and also do their best to encourage and make welcome additional members, and visitors to the club.
